My great uncle was Henry Alfred Cressy, 54th Bn, B coy, killed on 19th July 1916 at Fromelles. He disembarked at Marseilles on 29th June and was killed at Fromelles. I wonder if we could exchange.
Lambis sent through your Facebook post of the tribute at the War Memorial. Beautiful! I have moved schools to St Clare's College at Waverley and am trying to start the project over here. Lambis is coming up to do a day of workshops with the girls on Tuesday May 8 and we were wondering if you would like to join us during the day? We would love you to share your story with them. Lambis is also keen to catch up. Hope you can make it.
Hi Josephine,
Nice to hear from you so soon. I do have names on the back the postcard, although not full names, and two are difficult to read. I will add the images for you now in my photos.
Regards,
Mal
Hi Josephine, I have a postcard photo including Herbert Bolt, my great grandfather Francis Johnston and four other soldiers. Frank was with Herb when he died and was the one who recounted his last moments. You may already have the photo but if you like I will add it to the site.
