I am not sure if you are receiving my emails regarding a Commemorative Service I will organise for the 19th July at Sandgate Cemetery, with you to be our special guest. I need to talk to you regarding arrangements to be made that need your approval. Please contact me at your earliest convenience.
I am Sandgate Cemetery's WW1 Researcher and I would like to discuss with you a commemorative service for Henry Alfred Cressy on the 19th July at Sandgate Cemetery. I have been placing white memorial crosses for 1st A.I.F. soldiers who fell during the Great War supplied to me from Morpeth Men's Shed where a memorial inscription has not been placed on the headstone, if a headstone exists at all. Henry's parents are buried in an unmarked grave at the cemetery, and I invite you to be with me when I place this cross to honour Henry's service and sacrifice 100 years ago.
